Product Design Lead
For the past three and a half years, I have effectively led a product design team, shaped the design strategy, and helped shape the roadmap for our product, identifying opportunities for us to improve our platform's user experience as well as new features to build.
As part of the leadership team, I focused on building and mentoring my team of product designers. I developed a healthy design process for my team and implemented practices that empower them to make decisions independently with confidence and motivation.
I collaborated closely with the Product, Research, Engineering, and Data Science teams to define problems, set goals, and determine product strategy.
In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I also made contributions as an individual contributor. I established our Design System: the Figma component library, typography, color palette, as well as introduced design tokens to the team, conducted user interviews, and shipped multiple features.
I lead rather than just providing management. I guide the team, not just oversee it.
